CATATAN TAMAN NEGARA - HARI KEDUA


Pada hari ini, kami dan Pak Cu memulakan jungle trekking seawal pukul 8.30 pagi. To beat the crowd. Pak Cu dengan bersungguhnya menerangkan kepada kami kepelbagaian jenis tumbuhan, serangga dan haiwan. Berpeluanglah juga melihat ular kapak, tarantula dan sebagainya ketika dalam perjalanan.





Bersunnguh betuii dia dengar penerangan..

Setelah mendaki selama 44 minit, kami pun sampai ke puncak Bukit Teresek dan dari puncak kita boleh melihat Gunung Tahan. Tetapi disebabkan kabus yang tebal, niat suci murni pun terhalang. Pewai jugalah time nie sebab sudah lama tidak melakukan aktiviti - aktiviti seperti ini. Atas permintaan kami juga Pak Cu membawa kami melalui jalan tanah bukannya trek yang telah disediakan oleh pihak Taman Negara. Banyak perkara dan tip - tip yang telah dikongsi oleh Pak Cu ketika berada di dalam hutan dan kalau nak tulis disini memang tak terkiralah banyaknya. Terima kasih Pak Cu!!

Gunung Tahan yang tersembunyi di sebalik kabus..

Perjalanan diteruskan ke canopy wWalk dan orang ramai mula membanjiri kawasan ini. Punyalah beratur panjang dan sambil menunggu Pak Cu hadiahkan kami tiara daun. Untuk pengetahuan, canopy walk di Malaysia ini adalah terpanjang didunia iaitu 500m tapi sayangnya ia hanya dibuka sampai 300m sahaja kerana ditutup untuk penyelenggaraan.

Buat - buat berani ker tu...
Selepas makan tengahari dan solat zohor, kami menyambung ke aktiviti seterusnya iaitu mandi - manda di Lata Berkoh. Perjalanan ke Lata Berkoh mengambil masa 30 - 45 minit dari Mutiara Taman Negara dengan menaiki bot.













Kapasiti bot panjang ini hanya seramai 6 orang dewasa dan ia dilengkapi dengan jaket keselamatan. Pemandangan yang indah dan kehijauan menemani kami sepanjang perjalanan. Serenity view! Alhamdulillah rezeki kami juga dapat melihat pelbagai jenis burung seperti enggang, raja udang, helang, cowi dan seberau.

Setelah sampai di sebuah perhentian, kami dikehendaki trekking ke Lata Berkoh dengan jarak perjalanan selama 30 minit. Difahamkan air Lata Berkoh datangnya dari Gunung Tahan dan dikawasan ini juga kita perlu berhati - hati kerana terdapat kawasan yang dalam iaitu sedalam 5 meter. Air yang laju dan segar memang amat sesuai untuk kami yang kebusukan dan keletihan. Dengan aktiviti ini, tandanya berakhirlah trip kami di Taman Negara. Awesome!
